Kid-friendly restaurants are not always the easiest places to find. Kids need the perfect combination of space, a lively atmosphere, and delicious menu items in order to stay entertained. Fortunately, there are plenty of restaurants in the Louisville neighborhood that fit that description. Check out this list of the three most kid-friendly restaurants in Louisville so that you know where to go the next time you head out for a meal with your little ones.

Mark's Feed Store

Mark's Feed Store is a popular place for families because of the Kids Eat Free Specials after 4 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays. To gain access to this special, the only requirement is that an adult purchase an entree. Mark's has several locations throughout Kentucky and one in Indiana. The restaurants are known for their down-home atmosphere and southern hospitality. The Ribs with Mark's Red Sauce is by far the most popular item on the menu, though the Chicken Finger Dinner is another great option. Most meals range between $7 and $16 per person. The Middletown restaurant is located at 11422 Shelbyville Road.

W.W. Cousins

W.W. Cousins has been in the community for more than three decades, and residents are quite loyal to the restaurant. Kids are always welcome, and a special on Mondays and Tuesdays allows children age 12 and under to order Kid’s Menu items for free. Kid’s Menu items include a burger, a hot dog, and a chicken sandwich. All items are served with fries and a drink, and entrees can be made more original thanks to the complimentary toppings bar. Adults are also well accounted for at Cousins, which has more than 40 items to choose from daily. The restaurant was named the home of the Best Burger in Kentucky by the Food Network Magazine. Everything on the menu is $15.50 or less. They are located at 4112 Outer Loop.

Ghyslain is decorated in a posh, modern style with sleek lines and new age decor. Nothing on the menu costs more than $15, making it an affordable place to stop for dessert. Guests can easily pick up a romantic gift of chocolate for Valentine's Day, or buy their significant other a tasty anniversary gift. At their Bistro locations in Louisville, Ghyslain serves crepes, sandwiches, and soups made with gourmet ingredients. They sell pastries and desserts online and at their stores. Children are encouraged to visit to learn about sophisticated French cuisine. Ghyslain is located at 721 E Market Street.

Enjoying family time at a variety of eateries lets Louisville families learn about fine dining, local history, and a wide variety of cuisines.
